The chef profession is the most common on RBE’s payroll: the company employs approximately 6,500 chefs. Dishwashers, kitchen assistants, and front-of-house staff are also among the most numerous positions. All of these categories form the foundation of the company’s operations, with chefs consistently holding the top spot in terms of headcount.
The total number of culinary professionals, across all categories, exceeds 10,000 employees, accounting for about 30 percent of the company’s entire workforce. Overall, the share of employees working in the service sector with a focus on food service—including culinary staff—approaches 70 percent.
The high demand for culinary professionals reflects the scale of the company’s projects and the ongoing development of the Unified food network. Thanks to a well-established system of recruitment, mentoring, and distance learning, the RBE Human Resources Center provides businesses with qualified personnel, and one in three employees who work with food products becomes a representative of the company.
